I checked Google Earth .. the road from Saudi Arabia to UAE cuts the Road from Dammam to Riyadh in about it's Third .. so I guess it's only an 8 hour drive .. however I know Riyadh quite well so if anyone's planning to go there could give me a call .. PM me ..
