Suazo linked with Milan
CAGLIARI, May 29 (SW) - Cagliari striker David Suazo has been linked with a move to AC Milan.
The 26-year-old Honduran international, whose 22 goals last season kept the Sardinia club from suffering relegation, has been linked with a number of clubs after a breakout 2005/06 campaign.
Manchester United, Juventus, AS Roma and the two Milan clubs have been rumoured to be interested in him,
but the uncertainty regarding Juventus’s future and the departure of Andriy Shevchenko from the San Siro has vaulted Milan into the driver’s seat.
Suazo, however, is in no hurry to make a decision.
“I talk to my agent every day, but for the moment there are no developments,” he said.
“I have a contract until 2008 and everyone knows I am in no hurry to run away from Cagliari, as I am very happy here, but at the same time it depends on what offers I receive.”
