(from Tuttomercatoweb )
Ok.. from skimming through that topic and picking out the words I recognize, I see that either Moggi and Wenger are discussing the sale of Vieira..

or they're buying themselves a new car.. :wallbang:

Real can make as many offers as they'll like cos it was them (Madrid) who pulled the plug on his transfer to them last summer cos of his knee record. then they managed to pull off the transfer of the decade in luring jonathan woodgate to the Bernabeu for twice the amount that Newcastle paid Leeds for.
If Vieira had to leave then Juve would be a better option. Unless he wants the circus attention you'll gbet at Madrid. Minus trophies!!

Its up to him!

usually I love the weekends, I relax, then watch many soccer games in different leagues.

Sadly in transfer period, i'd rather have weekdays coz thats when all the action takes place. i hate waiting for our transfers to be resolved

I agree! Love it when we have the european championships / World cup least we can see what players are around. all we feed on here is rumours & speculations. ANNOYING OR WHAT!!

I watched the grand prix earlier and saw Arsene wenger, is it a reliable source in the article when he stated that Vieira was Juve bound? Cos thats very unlike arsene to publically say such a thing. I dunno!!

Gerrard U-Turn Pushes Real Toward Vieira?
7/10/2005 7:32:00 PM
Get the feeling of De ja Vu?
Amid rumours, and they are just rumours, that the Arsenal captain has his price this summer, Real Madrid have re-ignited their flame for Patrick Vieira.

Juventus allegedly tabled a player plus cash deal that ivolved Stephan Appiah, but reports have been ment with a mixture of silence and denials from both the Gunners and the Bianconeri. Highbury supreme David Dein is apparently holding out for a cash figure of around 15 million pounds.

Such transfer sagas have followed the Frenchman around each and every summer for the last few summers, but the news has not fallen on deaf years at the Bernabeu and, having seen their chances of snapping fellow central midfielder Steven Gerrard disappear, longtime target Vieira is back on the shopping list.

Still, it is very much a case of lets see what happens from the Real camp, but the potential to highjack the Old Lady’s alleged move could be too hard to resist for Florentino Perez.

Real still seem extremely keen to sign a big name central midfielder, despite already possessing Thomas Gravesen and now Pablo Garcia to potentially fill the role. Clearly they do not fit Perez’s ‘Galactico’ stable.

Should the rumours have any foundation, it would be the fourth consecutive year that Real have shown an interest in Arsenal’s midfield talisman.

it was always a posibilty for Real to ask Vieira,
it wont be the first time,
i was wondering what took them so long,
they couldnt sign Gerrard,Emo it was about time,
we sould hurry,we didnt.
We cant compete with teams like Real or Milan,
if Real is interested on Vieira, they will get him
and leave as the left overs(Pizarro),
that if only Inter isnt interested on him,
then we sould try Inter's leftovers(Mozart),
if Fiorentina doesnt get interest,
we can always keep Maresca

Wenger Confirms Juventus-Vieira Negotiation
7/11/2005 7:46:00 AM
The French coach revealed that the Bianconeri directors were in London to negotiate the transfer of Patrick Vieira to Juve.
What was just a rumour in the past days, has become a fact as Arsene Wenger confirmed speculation that Juventus are currently in talks with Arsenal for the move of influential midfielder Vieira to the Turin-based outfit.

Wenger confirmed this news to Italian journalists during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where the Gunners coach admitted the interest and negotiation of the Bianconeri for his team’s captain.

It is thought that Juventus have offered 10 million Euros and the services of Stephan Appiah for Vieira, however Arsenal want 20 million Euros in cash.

20 ml for veira , i hope he go to real :(
