Whenever he played this season with Inter, he did a phenominal job.
I donlt think that Blasi is at the same level as Zanetti as some members mentioned. Zanetti has far better covering skills than Blasi, has more experience, has better ball control. Only thing that he does not have is the passing that we could find in Mozart, but then again IMO Zanetti is better at covering than Mozart.

we already hve the destructive midfielders, and lack creativity....why on earth should we sign another destructive player...we jus signed Gianichedda anyway...if we signed Zannetti it would become a DM circus.

I agree!
This is the formation. With Viera included, our midfield will dictate the pace and playing of the game, due to its sheer strength of covering, and defensive abilities.

I don't know if you watch Inter games 04/05 seasons, but calling C. Zanetti destructive, with all due respect, blunt. Zanetti did a great job, WHENEVER he got the chance to play. He does not have the long range passing ability like I already stated, but he is really a wall in the middle. I still do not understand how members here compare Gianichedda and Blasi to Zanetti.

blasi and gianicheda are destructive midfielders, who are the first line of defense protecting the back four/three....that is imho exactly what zannetti does, so why do we need another one...

and im sure it was Cambiasso getting all the plaudits for controlling hte inter midfield?

Edit...with regards to destructive..it suggests a player breakdowns oponents attacks , supply strength and hard tackling to the midfield.

I thought with regards to destructive you meant players who destroy our own team with their bad football skills
