Juventus have the greatest respect for Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, despite pointing out he was a flop with them. “He may not have been a huge success when he was with us but he was young then,” said Bianconeri director Romy Gai. “He is now a different player, so much more skilful, so it is very difficult to compare those days with these.” Gai also claims that ex-Gunner Patrick Vieira will be of enormous value when the two sides meet in the Champions League showdown. “Patrick is a fantastic player. He brings huge experience and quality to the team and he is playing well. We are very happy with him.”

But we cannot respect Wenger, since Inter demolished them 5 - 1 before and Arsenal killed Inter with a ridiculous socrelin of 5 - 0 :D

hleb is brilliant.i saw him during some of his first few games with arsenal and he was amazing.he seems to have lost some of his magic ever since he returned from injury though.
he's a german right?and was he at stutgart before arsenal got him?

in terms of the arsenal squad in general,id be more worried about ljunberg than hleb though.his pace can easily murder our older players.by and large, arsenal have possibly the fastest attack in europe if you look at the speed of their players.

nah hleb is from belarus, its a pity cause he would do wonders for germany.hleb's vision is damn good, but lately his passing has been something of a disaster.

arsenal reckon it takes about +/- 8/9 seconds to counter attack & thats how good they are at counter attacking.

It's a bit strange what they did to Hleb though. At Stuttgart he was playing ebhind the front two (like Totti, Kaka) and was very good at it. However, as most teams in England Wenger doesn't use that position and converted Hleb to a right winger. I think he would be much better at his actual position. Yet another player to change position for the famous English flat 4-4-2...

How can Henry be regarded as 'flop' when we signed him in the january transfer window and sold him when the new season started.

You cant expect a young man who doesnt speak a word of italian to come to italy and be an instant hit.

And wernt we fighting for a UEFA Cup place when he arrived, though he did score a brace at the Olympico anginst Lazio, as a WINGER not a forward.

Not exactly. With the Czech national team Nedved played left midfielder. But as far as I know Hleb never played at right midfield in his entire career until this year. It's like buying Eto'o and then using him as a winger because he's so fast (wait a minute, Capello did that to Mutu :D ).

Em... IIRC it was 3-0 to Inter at highbury and 5-1 to Arsenal at the Meazza.
