i dont see why when we have enough old up washed full backs in the team as it is.

Cassano and Chivu, they would be great for juve. Maybe even try for Mexes is possible, i believe Capello really liked him and would be able to turn him into a very good defender. Have thuram and cannavaro as the veterans and Mexes and Chivu as the future.
