Earlier this month Giraudo said in an interview with TuttoSport that the reconstruction of Delle Alpi is highly uncertain in several points. The plans are to remodel it for at least a 40 000 capacity arena, however the deal they have signed is only valid if they build a 35 000 capacity arena. Moreover, the commercial plan, building restaurants and other activity centers around the new arena is for now not included.

Giraudo also said that no company has been contracted to start with the building. If by middle of July the work has not begun they will postpone the project to Christmas, and would it not work out at that time as well, then it will be postponed to next year. Reconstructing Delle Alpi is estimated to take 24 months to complete.

if teh stadiums holds 50K it will be half full most games we play there. what we need is 40K, that way the atmosphere would at least be decent for most home games we play.

i really do wish we just built a new stadium..if the funds were there it would be great.

Yes, it costs a lot but it also brings new money if you have sky boxes and business seats and such things. we need a new stadium in the next years if we want to be competitive.

I agree with Phillip there it will cost but over time we will make more than it costed us. We should make a similar style stadium as the one of Old Tratford, that stadium is simply devastating

For that reason, we gonna redevelop Delle Alphi, cutting in about half the seats it has now and make room for a whole new Juve center ( entretainment, bussiness, Society office, Juve history museum, etc.) . ...And we will be competitive the only way we know: being profitable....

land is a precious comodity and very expensive hence redevloping and creating a juve centre is to begin with a lot cheaper than eithe rkncking down the delle alpi of relocating.

The great thing about the boxed stadium though, is that the fans are as close as possible to the action. Does anyone know of any Italian teams that play in such a stadium?
Inter and Ac Milan :)
