Camoranesi Tacchinardi Davids Zambrotta
Trezeguet Del Piero

or

Buffon
Thuram Ferrara Montero Birindelli
Tacchinardi Tudor Davids
Di Vaio Del Piero
Trezeguet

The first one looks better to me.

I like this one...
Man, it looks like such a hole without Nedved behind the front two. But I'm sure everyone's heard enough about that.

Player comparisons (probably biased :D)
This is based on recent form, btw:

Buffon - Abbiati: Buffon

Costacurta - Ferrara: Ferrara
Nesta - Birindelli: Nesta
Kaladze - Thuram: Thuram
Maldini - Montero: Maldini

Gattuso - Tacchinardi: Tacchinardi
Davids - Pirlo: Davids
Seedorf - Zambrotta: Zambrotta
Camoranesi - Rui Costa: Rui Costa

Trezeguet - Shevchenko: Shevchenko
Inzaghi - Del Piero: Del Piero

Lippi - Ancelotti: LIPPI

Juve 8 - 4 Milan

yeah nice call lac,

and how bout coaches (tacticians)

Lippi - Ancelotti: Lippi :D

Truly a great tactician, amazing man in my opinion. Organizes a team well and makes stars out of many players.

Yeah, I think half of them aren't exactly compared by position, I just threw together the lineups and put the D's, M's, A's together. But you're damn right about Lippi v. Ancelotti (I edited my post)

i think lippi will go with :

    ---------------buffon
    thuram - ferara -montero -birindelli
    zamby- tudor-tach - davids
    ------------------------- del piero
    --------------- trezeguet

he will keep di vaio and camo at the bench and i think this formation is good for final game

it's too defensive,we have to beat milan at their own game:attacking!

if we could do it against real,i can't see why not against milan, even without neddy.

me personally, i would like to see this:

    ------------buffon

    thuram---tudor---montero---zambrotta

    ----------tacchinardi-

    camoranesi---------------davids

    -------------del piero

    --------trezeguet--------di vaio

i think without nedved, we have no choice but to play del piero deeper. he is the only creative player in the side who is good enough to feed the strikers.

keeping in mind, di vaio will drift the left a lot, and del piero will push up heaps a well. Davids will drift in the DM area to help out tacchinardi as he always does which will make zambrotta push up the left wing a lot. i think we can get away with this as Gattuso isnt a player who you have to really man mark as we did with Figo.

and most of all, we can counter attack well with di vaio in the team.

one thing we cant afford to do is play trezeguet by himself isolated. With Nesta and Maldini, trezeguet might have troubles on his own. So it would be better to get a player like Di Vaio who maybe a nesta might have to take and i'm sure that Di Vaio's pace will make it hard for Nesta.

we have to break down Rui costa and make sure he doesnt get any space to create for inzaghi who is dangerous. Shevchenko is always a problem for us, so this game, we must stop him.

Seedorf and Davids will battle out i think. Pirlo or ambrosini will have to deal with stopping the likes of del piero attacking.

Kaladze on Camoranesi will be a good battle.

well, i'm not sure what Lotti has in mind for this game. last time we played them, we were missing del piero, trez, di vaio and salas.......so things are different time, although we are missing God, opps, i mean Nedved.

i know that it's too defensive ,,,,,,, but it's one match after all and we need to be a lit bit conservative.

milan isn't that good from the flanks and they will try to win this game from the heart of the midfield with at least 3or 4 central midfielders (rui costa - pirlo - seedorf- gatusso) and we need to win this battle of midfield i am not afraid of simic or kaladze to move forward i am really concerned that ancelottin wil use cheva on the right flank wich could stop birindelli and davids from going forward to aid del piero.....

zambrotta can be switched to left back using camo on the right
this is the only swich that we can allow using di vaio is not wise idea as well he is not a midfielder and not attacker he needs to play while del piero is out we can't force them together
