It is totally different to score in spain or to score in Italy... If Trez goes to Spain he will score like a crazy...

We gave him as part excange to Lazio for Salas. He didnt want to play in Juve anymore as there is no way he would get a first team place with Inzaghi, Trezeguet and Del Piero as competition.

If you compared him with the scoring of inzaghi and trez at this moment you will notice that he is better , he know how to protect the ball with his body and score with his head .in fact we will see this in torino when we play against real socedad in the CL.

Yeah, but spain is a whole different ball game compared to Serie A. We saw him while he was at Juve and Lazio, he almost never performed when starting from the first minute. He was something like our super-sub.

That's not true, the few times that he started in Serie A, he was very good. And in that season when we had all three of them, Kova was better than Trez and Inzaghi.

Well, we always had a quality player in Kovacevic when he was with us. But it seemed evident that he wasnt going to break through with Del Piero having his best years ahead of him.

But we must also take into consideration that Kovacevic has improved dramatically these past few years. And when we did let him go, he had the same amount of skill as Salas. The only thing is, we got money from him.

On the other side of the story, the Salas saga has always been a sour experience for Juve.

Kovacevic was too slow for Italian football.

Vieri in his early part of the short Juve career was very very slow, in fact we used to call him 'The Cart' But after a few months he got better and faster, something that Kovacevic did not achieve. Why do you think he did not get much playing time with Lazio either? Because he's not good enough for Italian football. If he really was better than Trez or Inzaghi, he would have been a starter for Lazio, who were passing through a bad period and their strikers were not doing well.

may be he was better than Trez and Inzaghi, but those few times aren't enough to judge him...

Nope, but combine that assessment with his excpetional play in Spain before he came here and after he left and you come up with a world class striker who could have lit up Serie A if he was given the chance.

Probably yes, I am a fan of his and i was upset when they sold him. anyway he wouldn't have been worse than Salas If he stayed.

Well the same can be said of Esnaider who was only great at Real Zaragossa, every time he goes to a big team be it in Spain , Real Madrid or Italy . Kovacevis seems to have found his spiritual home not just in Spain but at Real Soceidad and I don't know about his international record but I don't think its that clever either

he was given a chance with Lazio?? I don't think so.

and I think he was good with Juve. but he was too good to be a sub, so obviously, Real Sociedad is the right place for hm.

he wasn't given a chance with lazio but he was given a chance with juventus!!!! we don't need the guy! we have enough strikers to play for two teams!!!!

DP, Trezeguet, Di Vaio, Miccoli and Zalayeta

they are all reliable when it comes to scoring goals!
