keeping trez is a must of course. but come on, decent for serie b? want him to come or not, that's a little unrealistic valuation given the fact what arsenal wanted to pay for him and what we are supposedly wanting to pay for him.

Well,I'm unobjective because I have no respect for the Yugo players.:disagree:
well i'd like to give the guy a chance, he may turn out to be a kovacevic, he also may turn out to be a suker. sincee half of europe is after him i'd give him the benefit of a doubt.

but let's the two of us, close this discussion already, it's pointless.

The real problem is that Suker was a world class and that kind of player I would sign immediately, but Yugo football doesn't have these kind of players.

I agree with you Suker was fantastic, but he is a history just like the whole ex Yu country.

when he started out suker wasn't the suker the whole world knows, someone took a gamble on him. thing is you never know. but fine, that's your opinion, we just disagree.

forget Zigic he'll be a waste of money. From the 2 games against Milan i can safely say get Djokic instead of Zigic.

so much for this news

Santander win race for Zigic

Racing Santander have completed the signing of Serbia international striker Nikola Zigic from Red Star Belgrade. The 2.02 metre giant has signed a year contract with the Cantabrian club, and will link up with them after Serbia’s Euro 2008 qualifying matches with Azerbaijan and Poland.

Zigic hit 45 goals in just 76 games for the former European champions, and was voted Serbian league player of the year in 2003 and 2005. He has been capped by Serbia and Montenegro 13 times, netting four goals.

Zigic monitored by Juve
Tuesday 20 February, 2007

Juventus and Tottenham sent scouts to watch Racing Santander ace Nikola Zigic at the weekend.

Reports in the peninsula insist that both sides dispatched representatives to watch the striker in action against Gimnastic Tarragona.

Racing won the Liga meeting 4-1 with the 26-year-old Zigic netting a goal in the Spanish encounter.

Zigic joined Santander in the summer on a four-year contract after netting 55 goals in 77 games for one time European Champions Red Star Belgrade.

The Serbian international, who measures over two metres tall, was already linked with the Old Lady during the summer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't want him anymore, he'll probably cost twice as much now after a year in La Liga. Anyone know how he is playing in Santander?
