DD:“We are looking for at least one central defender to sure things up at the back. I don’t just want an ‘extra’ player, I want someone who really adds something to the team, someone who gives us guarantees in defence. That could be an Italian or otherwise" Among those players is David Trezeguet: “He is staying, 100%”.

I took this from Juventus.com!!! Trez is stayin!!! whooooooohooo

that's a little superstitious if you ask me, but that's your personal opinion. ex-yugoslavia has had some of the best football players ever. even now there are some very good players from this area. so i disagree on the players, but the domestic leauges here are indeed screwed up.
Maybe it was a case before with Stojkovic,Savicevic,Jugovic,Prosinecki,Pancev and co,but now players from the Yugo area are shity.
And I want to watch Italian football with some young Italian talents and not with some screwed players.
I prefer Italian football and not yugo rubbish.

well i'm all for giving youngsters a chance. but not as much as some of you. not trying to be rude, but some have fallen in love with some of these youngsters just because of the loyalty they've shown. i'd like for them to suceed at juve as well, but paro, palladino, volpato, masiello and the rest have been with this club for a number of years, either in the primavera or on loan, and if they haven't been able to get to the first team till now, what makes you think they're gonna get any better soon? juventus is not a club that can afford to give youngsters chances, well maybe we are now, but anyway, what i mean is, we need proven players on the pitch. we are not parma or roma, who rely on youngsters, we never were. untill now maybe.
We didn't give the a chance, but now it's the right time,we have Palladino who played for our U-21 National Team and he is a main candidate for the Donadoni's squad.Palla is a real Juventino, the guy said that he wants to play with us even in serie C God damn it,he is good, talented, young and likes us,and we treat him like a waste,we dis the same with Maresca and Miccoli, well I'm sick of that and I don't want to see more of that.

vlatko said:
as for wneger, i wasn't saying he is a norm or anything. i was merely making a example out of him as someone who knwos how to spot a talent. i don't think anyone has made so many world class players out of youngsters as he did.
Ok,Wenger is irrelevant here.

i prefer it too, but whatever.

well if it is the right time, i'm sure he will play. if he is that good. personally i have yet to see something from the guy. i really hope he turns out to be something. but for now all we have he's young, talented, italian and loves juve. well i really hope it is enough.

it's not irrelevant, i made a point, that's all.

look i really don't wanna look like someone who doesn't want us to play youngsters, develop them and so on. i just think you, as well as many others, put too much trust in that heart, love and loayalty agenda. sure it's not nice and all but that doesn't make a football player. and palladino has a looong way to go o become a great football player. will he ever get there? well let's just say i'm not as positive as you are.

i take it you're a grobar? :D
Well he act like a grobar, but what is bad about being grobar. It is ten time better than being a cigan. At least grobar's team is exactly similar in jerseys as Juve, black and white, but anyway,he is totally right about Zala.He is an excellent player and striker. In my opinion it is one of the last players that Juve should sell.

Burdisso'll be good for Serie B, Zigic may become good player. Anyway I hope he'll score on wednesday and that he won't come to Juve. I wouldn't sell player whos goals eliminated Real M. & Barcelona (Zalayeta) !
100% right about Zala and his goals against Barca and Real

Forza Juve!!!! Thats all i have to say for now.....We are not profesional enough to judge every move juve makes!!! If juve wants to buy some player(s) let them buy....they never made any mistake in that matter! You will probably think of Ibra as a mistake but think of the first season when he came to juve and how good he was....I have been saying this for a long time and i will say it again: "The only problem with Ibra was his ego" Period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for that the blame goes to Crapello who was always putting Ibra infront of DP!!! Lets just hope that Zigic wont develop the same ego that Ibra did!! That depends from DD and how he will treat Zigic!! Or let me put it simple for you...If DD treats Zigic like a super star right from the begining we will have our self another Zlatan Ibrahimovic but if he treats him like a talented player that comes from one of the worst leagues in Europe then we will have ourselfs a very good and useful player!!!! So forza Juve we belive in everything you do!!!!
Jeah, but Juve done all that deals bacause of so blamed Moggi ,and we will see in the future the acts of this leadership. So do not predict that everything which is done from Juve is right.

Ok man,we will wait and see.:)

I just hope that we will not sign Zigic or any other Yugo player and rely on our capacities.

I think that you already know that supporters of Red Star football club are called
" Cigani" which means "Gipsies" and suporters of Partizan football club are called grobari. You know that ,and do not think that with saying that is better to be grobar than a cigan I want to insult someone.I was just speaking about nicknames of two major Belgrade clubs.Whats the big deal?

Okay mate.Cigani was their first nickname. After that ,maybe fans of Zvezda find out that nickname bad,so they changed to Delije,I do not know exactly 10-13 years from now. This does not matter at all .
Lets support our beloved Juve.I still think that Zala is a fine player.
Greetings to you.

yes i know alex came from padova, i was just making a point. fact is none of these youngster stand out like he did and that's why they are not playing. but like i said, this is serie b now and this is a whole new world. so if they can't/won't be given chances here, than i ask myself, what good are they for anyway? if we can't trust them in serie b than they are not such big talents in the first place. i'll leave that to deschamps. i still think zigic would be a good contribution, as well as burdisso, and i hope these deals go through. we can and we should sell zalayeta, the guy stuck with us through thick and thin and imo it would be best for him and for us if he left. he can still make something more out of himself, other than a juve bench player.
yeah i see ur point abt not trusting them when it comes to serie B, if we dont give them a chance now then we wont give them a chance. Like you, i will leave it to DD all of this will come down to him....he has options and imo some of them r good options.

Abt zala, i say if he wants to leave then so be it..It would be good for his career and he is thanked for his years of service.Dont know if whether DD wants to hang on to him or not.

Lets wait and see abt zigic, Walter Zenga says he is very good ...mybe he could be a good option. But if he is coming then Zala should leave, and i think that palladino or bojinov wont get a very good chance to play with trezi and alex there.

zalayeta wanted to leave last season as well, but was convinced by capello to stay. i'm pretty sure he was convinced this time as well. whatever the case may be i'd like him to play as a starter in some other club. he deserves it.

like i said i'd like zigic to come and zalayeta to leave. that would again leave us with a lot options upfront. delp, trez, bojino, palla and zigic. from what i saw i think dd won't play the classic 4-4-2, thank god, but more of a 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1. that makes practically 3 of our 5 forwards in the starting line up. trez and zigic/zalayeta would be that lone striker upfront and delp, bojinov and palladino would be those supporting forwards, and they can all play in those positions. i think dd will play like this most of the time:

buffon
balza-tudor-kovac-chiellini
paro/march-zanetti-nedved
bojinov/palla------del piero
-------------trez/zala-------

so that utilises 3 out our 5 forwards in a game, and when you bear in mind the season is really long, 42 matches is it? plus injuries, we're really gonna need all the firepower we can get. i'm really looking forward to seeing us play some attractive football we played before.

Zigic would mean either Trez or Zala are leaving. I'd prefer our current strikers to stay, since they are proven and wouldn't cost 5 mil.

I wouldn't say no to Burdisso though. He's more than good enough for Serie B, and would be a good backup when/if we are promoted. He's also versatile and can play all over the defense.

Current team: Crvena zvezda Beograd

Main Playing Position: striker

The 202 cm tall striker:agree: from Crvena Zvezda:eyebrows: scored 16 goals in the national championship and further 6 goals in the UEFA Cup in the year 2005. Overall he scored a total of 55 goals in 77 matches:agree: for Zvezda in only 2 years, which is an outstanding record. Of course, Zigic’s reputation got a boost, after scoring 3 goals for the national team in the year 2005. Above that he prepared two of the most important Kezman goals against Bosnia and Spain with his head during the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, becoming a key player in Ilija Petkovic’s team and a serious threat to defenders across Europe. In January 2006 he became target of almost every prestigious club in Europe, but he will most probably go in best club in the world, Juventus.:D

When u use this formation then marchionni would be either used on the wing or iin neddy's place. We cant play with marchionni and neddy in the CM position imo.
Paro is the best choice there and i wouldnt mind playing gianni and zanetti together.
