his career has just ended by choosing inter...:p

forwards are the least of the teams problems...we have great forwards. If Zalayeta leaves then replace him with a Palladino.

Spend money on midfield and defence, simple.
Yup, we have way too many forwards as it is, doesn't make sense to bring in Tavano as the ...th striker

might as well be our youngsters Palladino or Volpato...seeing that Cap has a thing for Tall forwards, the later might have the upperhand..while palladino can also play left midfield...

Agree, waste of time, talent, money and waste of our believe in youths. For a striker to do well in serie A for one season doesnt necesarily mean he is gonna shine throughout the rest of his career..

Of course if we are going to stick to the no youth policy then we should get Suazo. He has scored 20 goals compared to 19 from tavano and his overall play is something what we lack, we really aint got fast forwards, he would certainly suit capellos style too especially as long balls would allow a fast player like him to stretch past oppositional defenses. Another reason is he shouldnt cost 8 mill, but rather less especially if cagliari bites the dust and relegates.

Suazo is far better option, and is younger too.
But we actually doesn't need a striker, we gonna need him only if Zalayeta leaves... And maybe this is just one Tavano super season and nothing else, I mean he's 27 and no one heard for him before, if he's tgat good he wouldn't be playing in empoli with 27 years. The better option is Vucinic he played pretty good last season, and ofcourse this season too.

And must agree, Tavano is going to dissapear if he join Inter, like every player who join them.
