Saviola and Milito are the only Argentinians we need to get now and maybe Riquelme if Nedved quits
Milito yes, but what do we need Saviola for? And Ranieri says we're going to use a trident attack so we don't need Riquelme either, even if Nedved retires.

Juve need quality and well Riquelme is just that ...

Nedved on the left and Riquelme on the right ... :agree: would mean moving in the right direction

who watched argentina play tonite
riquelme was outstanding...very patient on the ball, commanding in midfield, good vision, some nice nifty moves n touches with the ball
with tiago,almiron,neddy,camo,marchisio,marchioni,zanetti...riquelme would fit in perfectly...give us a lot of nice options esp if hes available for10-12 million...rather have him than vdv
and hes 28-29 i think...has 2 good yrs in him

I think a 4-4-2(diamond) would suit Riquelme more...
True, but if the 433 was a chelsea (Mourinho) esque 433, meaning the wide forwards came deep to help defend, im sure Riq would fill Lamp's free role easily.

What ever the team, riq will require his team mates to make serious movement for him to create with.

And he needs them to work extra hard defensively since he won't help with that.

If Riquelme were to come..i dont see why Juve would play a 4-3-3 anyway.IMO a 4-4-2 diamond with Riquelme in the top of a 4 man midfield would be the way to go,He would be free of defensive duties and he would have freedom to roam. But IMO one of Almiron or Tiago has to be dropped then.It would be suicide to have them all in one midifeld.

Having said that,i dont think its a risk worth taking for a number of reasons.First theres a big chance he will fail,Secondly i dont think its worth dropping Almiron or Tiago,And third i think Tiago,Almiron and DP(if played) offer enough creativity.so whats the use anyway.
