Riquelme is just too lazy and is a choker. I love playmakers but this guy is overrated and not going to be effective unless we give him a free role. Even then he will only show up for the smaller of matches.

Don't want him.
*doing as snoop said*

I disagree, I think Riquleme is lazy and he is moody. Sometimes he doesn't show up at all. Definitely a bad investment.

i love riquelme, although he is a lazy bastard, there are very few that can pass aswell as him, if hes in a midfield that can offer him support defensively then he would be an ideal buy, but i doubt the midfield we are building could support him :(

I think that nobody knows what kind of midfield we're building...
Certainly seems that way. I think we will have a 3 man midfield along the lines of a holding midfielder such as Gilberto Silva, a more attack minded player like Tiago and Nedved.

Maybe it's just me, but I don;t think Gilberto Silva is coming, we are trying to get him for several weeks now, and I think that if it went through we won't be linked with Sissoko and Tiago

It is very possible that he won't come bt I do expect us to sign that type of holding midfielder.

Would happily have Tacchi or Zanetti be the holding player, but I don't know if they will be up to it.

4 4 2 is still the way to go...4 3 3 restricts Nedved and DP + more pressure on defence...Riquelme is way too unpredictable, Milito and Heinze are pretty good defenders...Almiron i dunno too much about but he looks like he would be a +ve signing

we basically already play a diamond formation...Neddy is more or less AMF so dont think its a prob...but i think 4 in MF is always better

I prefer 4 in midfield too but I think it sounds like we will be playing a 4-3-3 next season.

Buffon

Grygera - Milito(?) - Barzagli(?) - Chiellini

Salihamidzic - Tiago(?) - Nedved

Iaquinta - Huntelaar(?) - Del Piero

Would prefer a togher guy in DM like a Gilberto or a Sissoko but i think your team will be quite close to what we will see next season.

Not as good as
Buffon

Grygera - Milito - Barzagli - Chiellini
Silva (Sissoko/Mavuba)
Camo (Quersma/Marchionni) - Nedved
VDV(Diego-DP)
Del Piero - Huntelaar
