The Jankulovski idea suits me too. But it doesn't matter to me, where he plays as long as we get him.
Mexes is cheaper and even better than Ferrari, but Roma seem to have him. If I was Moggi, I would go for this players left:

Mexes / Ferrari
Jankulovski
Morientes
Realistic and cheap!

you realistically think we will get Morientes?... he is on hot patches after Monaco thing this season and should think that it he can his place at Real Madrid back...
even then he will be huge if he is open for sale.. Moggi might go for him if it was last season, but not this season i think... for that base i would go for Vieri/Crespo... they both , for reasons that are not denying their football quality , are not settled at their current club.. i think it would be ebst to go for both of them now....

hmm, Morientes claimed that he could choose Juve, and real don't need him, so why not?! It could be Vieri as well, depends which is cheaper, but hopefully not Crespo... Striker-situation is still wide open, and Moggi surprised us all few times allready...

Too bad that Ferrari and Gilardino will be following Prandelli thus to Roma and I hope we can get Mexes. If all these fails then it will be Emerson and hopefully Morientes instead of Trezeguet as the latter is halfway in Barca

i have notice in recent years that we dont buy more than one player in each position . so based on that, we have propably done with signings for defense ( Zebina ) and midfield ( Kapo )... the only question mark is the attack as the Trezeguet condition is still not clear.... but if he is indeeed sold, we need to buy TWO big lanky strikers as one ofthem Vieri is definately out most of the time ... Crespo is quite unsettled there in EPL as the pace of the game is not suited to his strength.... he being a replacemnt to Trez would be great....

Where the hell is Emerson? He's coming, ya know.
