Juve eye Giannichedda Friday 27 August, 2004

Lazio’s Giuliano Giannichedda is the latest player to be associated with a move to Juventus.
The Turin giants are still looking to strengthen their squad and the former Udinese ace is being linked.
Juve are said to be targeting the capital man after failing to agree a deal with Inter for Cristiano Zanetti.
The latter is a favourite of Juve boss Fabio Capello but reaching an agreement with the Nerazzurri has proved difficult.
The Turin giants had offered Stephan Appiah in a swap deal but the Milan club want Mauro Camoranesi instead – a player Capello is not willing to release.
That has seen the Old Lady turn their attention to Giannichedda who has already been targeted in the past.
Transfer wizard Luciano Moggi is set to offer the struggling club a number of players in return for the former international.
Juventus are also known to be keen on three more Lazio players in the shape of Massimo Oddo, Cesar and Simone Inzaghi.
