As you may have noticed, some of the players were listed in out-of-position categories but that was intentional in order to increase competition in each category. For example, Zambrotta was listed in the left-back instead of right-midfielder. Anyway, here are the results for the first set of polls. From now on, only one poll will be posted each time.

1) Best Goalkeeper: Dino Zoff.

Dino Zoff has won his place in the Dream Team with great success (58.33% of all votes). He played for Juve 11 seasons.

Here are the achievements of Zoff with Juve:

6 Scudetti - 2 Coppa Italia - 1 Uefa Cup.

Zoff played a total of 476 matches for Juve.

2) Best Rightback: Lilian Thuram.

- Thuram joined Juve with Buffon from Parma in 2001 and makes it to the Dream Team ( 55% of votes) unlike his ex-Parma team-mate.

Here are the achievements of Thuram with Juve:

2 Scudetti - 1 Italian SuperCup.

Thuram played a total of 84 matches for Juve and scored 1 goal.

3) Best Leftback: Moreno Torricelli.

Competition for best leftback was between 3 players But Torricelli won it with (36.36% of the votes).

Here are the achievements of Torricelli with Juve:

3 Scudetti - 1 Coppa Italia - 2 Italian SuperCups - 1 Champions League - 1 UEFA cup - 1 European SuperCup - Intercontinental Cup.

Torricelli played a total of 230 matches for Juve and scored 39 goals.

4) Best Sweeper: Gaetano Scirea.

Scirea won the majority of votes (68%) to deserve his place in the Dream Team.

Here are the achievements of Scirea with Juve:

7 Scudetti - 1 Champions League - 1 Cup Winners Cup - 1 UEFA cup - 1 European SuperCup - 1 Intercontinental Cup.

Scirea played a total of 552 matches for Juve and scored 32 goals.

5) Best Stopper: Ciro Ferrara.

Ferrara was the favourite stopper for Juve with a total of 87% of votes.

Here are the achievements of Ferrara with Juve:

5 Scudetti - 1 Coppa Italia - 2 Italian SuperCups - 1 Champions League - 1 European SuperCup - 1 Intercontinental Cup.

6) Best Defensive Midfielder: Didier Deschamps.

Deschamps was voted best defensive midfielder with a total of 40% of votes.

Here are the achievements of Deschamps with Juve:

3 Scudetti - 1 Coppa Italia - 2 Italian SuperCups - 1 Champions League - 1 European SuperCup - 1 International Cup.

Deschamps played a total of 178 matches for Juve between 1994 and 1999 and scored 4 goals. He is the current coach of French club Monaco.

7) Best Right Midfielder: Angelo Di Livio.

Di Livio was voted best right midfielder with a total of 64% of votes.

3 Scudetti - 1 Coppa Italia - 2 Italian SuperCups - 1 Champions League - 1 European SuperCup - 1 Intercontinental Cup.

Di Livio played a total of 269 matches for Juve between 1993 and 1999, he scored 6 goals.

8) Best Offensive/Left Midfielder: Pavel Nedved.

A tie between Nedved and Zidane with 12 votes each occured and thus my vote to Nedved as a tiebreaker allowed the Czech to win his place in the Dream Team.

2 Scudetti - 2 Italian SuperCups.

Nedved played a total of 89 matches for Juve and scored 19 goals.

9) Best Striker: Gianluca Vialli.

Gianluca Vialli won over Paolo Rossi by the least of margins, 1 vote.

1 Scudetto - 1 Coppa Italia - 1 Italian SuperCup - 1 Champions League - 1 UEFA Cup.

Vialli played for Juve from 1992 - 1996, joining from Sampdoria. He played a total of 145 matches and scored 53 goals.

10) Best Fantasista: Alessandro Del Piero.

Del Piero won the majority of votes beating both Platini and Baggio to earn his place in the Juve Dream Team. Del Piero received 16 votes (43%), Platini 12 votes (32%) and Baggio 9 votes (25%).

5 Scudetti - 1 Coppa Italia - 4 Italian SuperCups - 1 Champions League - 1 European SuperCup - 1 International Cup (awarded MVP).

Del Piero is the current captain of Juve, he played a total of 365 matches with Juve scoring 143 goals for the team.

11) Best Attacker: Fabrizio Ravanelli.

Ravanelli played 160 matches for Juve from 1992 to 1996 and scored a total of 68 goals. Ravanelli joined the following teams after that: Middlesbrough, Marseille, Lazio and Derby County.

The Dream team looks pretty good except that i dont see how DP beat Platini for the Fantasista position and how Ravanelli beat off Boniek.

(also, Vieri didn't do much while wearing a juve shirt so i think the votes he got were from his performances outside juve)

    .............

BTW, good job Fahad. We appretiate your efforts :)

A "dream team" without Baggio, Platini and Zidane is IMO ridicolous... They are the bests bianconeri ever, ouers "golden boys"!
Also Ravanelli instead of Bettega and Torricelli instead of Cabrini it is wierd.

    My dream team (4-2-3-1):

    --------------------Zoff
    Cabrini-----Scirea------Ferrara-------Gentile(also Thuran is ok)
    ------------Tardelli--------Deschamps(or Davids)
    --------Platini-----Baggio-----Zidane
    -------------------Bettega

An also there was no choice 4 including Boniperti... even if I guess nobody of us saw him he is the juve topscorer ever

    I'm surprised about that too.

Surely, Baggio and Platini deserve a place in that team somewhere, even if it means playing them out of position

Not too sure about Zidane though, he wasn't that great for Juventus.
