Moggi and Juve are no more the mafia than Bayern are. If anything, Bayern own the Bundesliga more than Juve own Serie A. Those fine folks in Munich are probably just trying to hold on to their player. I can't imagine why when they can just take Hleb...

What kind of attack would we be able to do with that midfield? Next to nothing?
Who needs to attack when you've got three of the best central midfielders in the world shutting down everything? Besides, put those three in a triangle formation with Ballack at the top, and I think you'd be scoring a lot of goals. Just think about the passes, the passes man!

Juventus and Internazionale are thought to be battling it out for Michael Ballack.

The Bayern Munich star's future has been the subject of much debate after he turned down a new deal at the club last year.

Ballack becomes a free agent in the summer and a number of Europe's top clubs are lining up to lure him away from Munich.

Real Madrid and Manchester United were both initially thought to be leading the chase for Ballack, but it appears their interest has waned.

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti is a big admirer of Ballack and has previously admitted his desire to bring him to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Juventus have always been coy on their interest in Ballack, but reports emanating from Italy suggest the Bianconeri are working behind the scenes to try and sign the goalscoring midfielder.

Should Ballack fail to agree a new deal with Bayern there is sure to be a massive scramble for the player's signature next summer.

Ballack would be an ideal 3 year solution to the midfield superiority programme in Serie A for Juventus.

Meanwhile the long-term attacking midfield signing (Nedved substitute/replacement) lies elsewhere. I hope you all realize that Capello, Bettega and Moggi are doing their utmost to sign Nedved's replacement. Ditto Thuram's.

Hi, folks, another Juve fan here:)

About Ballack, having him in Juve would be simply great. That could add sharpness and creativeness to our center midfield.
