mutu seems to be doing a nice job at the moment. if it is a playmaker that capello wants, then the club has one already in mutu. if it is more of a midfielder who has good hard working qualities backed with experience, versitility as well as good ideas, then ballack is the better choice.

Rosicky is a good player no doubt, but i dont see him being better than Ballack, and mutu is proving to be quite the player as he was at parma.
