Tudor played in mid because they were no other players to play there except for the inexperienced Paro. Tacchi and Baiocco were both left in Italy, while Davids was rested. So, Tudor played there with Conte.
Well, I hope this is true, and we see my hero Tudor back in defense soon!

    --juve played very bad as if they didnot want to playthis game or they were forced to do so.
    Juve came from Italy in Thursday (6 hours flight), played on Friday in Abu-Dhabi and then had a 2 hour bus trip, triained on Saturday and then had a (1.5 hour trip), and finally had to play a full match again on Sunday, players were obviously exhausted. I just want to add something, Al-Ahli from Egypht defeating R. Madrid last season, while Zamalek, also from Egypht, defeated Lazio two days ago.

    --dp and nedved made several rough tackles as if they wanted to hurt sombody.
    That's professional football, fighting for every ball, even in a friendly !!

    ++ [ originally posted by juventusi ] ++
    --there was no exchange of shirts at the end due to the above reason
    That's not true, DP laughed and exchanged shirts with Omar Ghareeb, and Nedved gave his shirt to Rami Yaslem, who said before the match that Nedved was his idol.

    --both players popularity will be affected in the region
    DP had to be escorted with police after the game due to the fan invasion on him !!

    yeah i must agree it was not a fix (i don't believe consperasy theories) butthe reason of our bad way is as dpforever said they were exausted .

    another thing that ain players wanted to prove somthing againest juve stars so they played with concentration and i give the credit for the Ain youngsters they were great.

    the match was fast not like other friendlies Ain players tackeld hard and so did juve especially del piero ( if it was not a freindly he might have been sent off).

    about tudor : he really sucked at midfield Ain players were injoying putting the ball between his legs HE DOESN'T FITT IN THE MIDFIELD he was slow , rong passes and like an open street for ain players no defensive and no attacking role at all.

    Okay, but you have to mind, that it was one of his first matches after his injury!
    IMO he is the perfect player to play in front of the defense! Good tackling and good for headers!
    I am a big fan of Igor, but I think Lippi sees him as a mid! Igor played in defense once this season, and this was horrible! In midfield he always played good! Give him time!
