Solid answers all around, maybe I can offer some final insight:

CURRENT EU MEMBERS
Netherlands (Holland)
Belgium
Luxemburg
France
Spain
Portugal
Ireland
United Kingdom (England)
Denmark
Sweden
Finland
Germany
Austria
Italy
Greece

TO JOIN IN MAY 2004
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Poland
Czech Republic
Slovakia
Hungary
Slovenia
Malta
Cyprus

TO JOIN IN 2007
Romania
Bulgaria

NEGOTIATIONS TO START SOON
Turkey

Any other European nation is still a very long way from being an EU member.

Hope that helped!

why cant we just terminate salas' contract like milan and barca did with rivaldo?
Salas' contract is long one and expensive too so Moggi'd have to pay the bastard millions of €'s if the contract was to be terminated by Juve.

And those non-EU players in our first team are Appiah and Olivera. Zala was on loan in Spain back in the day simply to get a spanish passport. Tudor and Nedved have EU status just like Shevchenko just because they are in big clubs.
