Would be an extraordinary signing. He'd add height and consistent goalscoring to the attack. DP and Boji in all honour, but they have other qualities.

I prefer to give a chance to our young players than bring Cruz, a 32 years old horrible forward.
The only good thing, is that we'll get rid of Zlatan.

I would rather have Lucarelli instead of Cruz, however if Trezeguet leaves we will need some target running our frontlines. If our arsenal of forwards includes the likes of Del Piero, Bojinov, and Julio Cruz for the start of the Serie B season, I suppose I would be content with that.

With service however, Lucarelli would easily bang in more goals for us.

Cruz for Ibrahimovic?? You can't be serious. I don't care how much people on this forum hate him, Ibra is worth FAR, FAR more than a 32 year old Julio Cruz.

Sell Ibr off to the highest bidder, and use some of that money on Lucarelli, although I'm not a huge fan of his, if Juve is going to play a 4-3-3 formation, (Let's face it, they'll have to if the penalty stands, on order to get as many goals as possible), then you'll need three proven goal scorers up front.

Lucarelli, Del Piero, and Bojinov in Serie B would do just that.

Deschamps does field the 4-3-3 from time to time, however usually with a winger and support forward.

I know that at times, he would field that formation, but like I had mentioned, if they are going to start the season with a 30 point penalty, then they may have no choice but to throw caution to the wind, and try to snatch as many goals as possible, therefore, they will need to field as offensive a lineup as possible.

I doubt the lot of y'all actually saw Lucarelli playing.
I've seen him play several times, but you don't score twenty-some goals in Serie A for Livorno if you're some half-ass player.

Even your Ibrahimovic could not manage that with one of the best squads in the world around him.

Nice double post there.

Lucarelli would be a great signing. hes a natural goalscorer. fair enough hes old but if we can someone in who can do a job properly who cares how old he is.

it is likely that we will lose trezeguet and deschamps want a striker who can scores a lot of "stupid goals " and Lucarelli and Cruz fall in that category.
For "spectacular goals" nedved and DP are there to provide

"You don't score twenty-some goals in Serie A for Livorno if you're some half-ass player". You see, that is exactly what I am talking about. Livescore.com-fan.
