Irrespective of anyone coming or going, Trezeguet has to stay. There's no question about it. To take things further however, I'd be more than happy to see Vieri here. Granted he's in the twilght of his career, but to say that he'd play for Juve in B rather than play in A at all, at least shows Juve still has a place in his heart. And that kind of attitude can only help us in this situation. Cruz? Why exactly? Zalayeta would be a better fit for our plans.

Cruz would accept a loan for a year to Juve and Vieri would want to join Juve even in serie B now that he left Sampdoria. OMG!!! I want to wake up from this nightmare.

So long Trez and Palladino.

personally i see this as good moves. both cruz and vieri would do good in serie b imo. and that's the type of players we need, serie b would now be like taylor-made for vieiri. and everyone is crying about palladino. why? one more year of loan, in serie A, would do him 2 times more good than staying with juve in b. we need proven, impact players, cruz or vieiri are just that. maybe not serie a material anymore, well cruz still is imo, but serie b definetly.

And you really think Cruz will be willing to join a team in serieB while he probably can be sold to teams playing in the highest league in their country and playing cl or uefa cup?
He was Inters topscorer last season, there will surely be other clubs interested in him.
I doubt it he will want to join us.

And Vieri, well we just sold a player with a bad attitude, no need to sign a new one if you ask me.

well cruz's time at inter is definetly over, would he come i don't know, i doubt it also. but a one year loan deal wouldn't be impossible.
and vieiri is nothing like zlatan, other than that i really believe he has affection for juve and if he wants to return here, even in serie b, i'd welcome him. imo he could do excellent here in this leauge. and like i said one of them we take and ship palladino out for one more loan, that would be best for all involved, we'd get a proven striker and palladino would get more invaluable experience.

Cruz out of our reach at serie B and Vieri the guy is not in the right state of mind to play football he still thinks he should have won the world cup with italy i also wonder how much weight he has put on over the summer iam guessing no way near fit!

maybe some serie b would sober him up. who knows. there are two options as i see it, either he'd do good or the defenders here would kill him and make him retire, he's already having serious injuriy problems, wouldn't surprise me. but i think bobo is worth a shot.

I think Martins time at Inter is over, why would they sell a player that obviously doesn't feel bad being benched and keep another one that will screem for 1st team football but won't get it because Mancini will surely start with Ibra and Adriano and have Crespo as first backup.

And I prefer giving palladino a chance then to sign over the top Vieri weho might not even start if DP and Trez (or Bojinov) will play and start to make a fuss about it.
He won't join us to be happy with a bench place.
We shouldn't make the same mistake as AC Milan did last season with the guy.

well we dont know what shape he is in!! i havent seen any recent pics or footage all i hear is he seems very very depressed over the WC! When your in this state of mind no matter how good u were u going to really struggle to get any motivation to play football! We need to see light at end of tunnel and i cant see any in Vieri... I think Vieri is seems to b more ready to commit suicide (no offence) than he is ready to play football at the moment!

I think vieri had it with football and will soon annouce retirement actually. That's how it looks from the Sampdoria deal. He was in very bad shape before the injury, so Juve will never bring him.

He did get a boost from seeing that kid with vieri shirt vs watford though.

actually vieri is going to torino Cairo: "Ci piacerebbe avere Vieri"
11 08 2006

i think they are both over at inter. that leaves 4 forwards, adriano, ibra, crespo, recoba. i doubt they will keep cruz as well. and it's not like he likes being benched, he wants to play and wants to score goals, just that he(cruz) is a professional and doesn't bitch about it. i don't know if the deal, cruz on loan, will go through but i think it would be a good one, for us at least.

what kind of a chance is fighting for first team football in serie b? it would be a valuable experience if we were in a but we are not. and we already have dp, bojinov, zala and perhaps trez. with palladino thats 5 strikers. so he will have limited playtime however you put it, even if trez leaves. so one more year in livorno or chievo or whatever is by far the better solution for palladino and for his future at juve. i don't want to loose the kid either but this would be the best for his development. cuz as things are he doesn't have a guaranteed starting place in a serie b team, what kind of a chance is that?

Depending on the tactic DD has in mind, I see palla as a backup which will get playing time, he will be picked over Zala but he won't mind being picked after DP, Trez and Bojinov.
If Bojinov would be used as winger (seeing them all leave, i wouldn't be surprised) or AM behind two strikers, Palla has a good chance as being first sub, something he would be able to live with, and I doubt Vieri would.

that's a lot of ifs. key part; palla has a chance to be a first sub. BUT in a serie b team. this is still juventus, but we gotta face the music, we are a serie b team. and for one year, and hopefully one year only, we should settle for a guys like vieri, cruz, or lucarelli as they could be our ticket out of here. palladino would get a starting shirt in any mid table serie b team, that's a better option for him than fighting for a first team place here. vieri is in the twilight of his career, there are few options he has left, this is not the vieiri of 3 years ago. i doubt he would have problem being rotated between zala, bojino and dp. serie b has what 42 matches after all?

Vieri is probably going to take part in a reality show [L'isola dei famosi]. That is why he cancelled his contract with Sampdoria.
