What are you talking about? Draxler is a LM/LWF. He's as much an AM as Berardi is. Both are inside wingers/forwards, just playing on the opposite sides.

Allegri asks for one thing...an AM. Beppe can make as many opportunistic, thrifty, unrelated deals as he wants, but ultimately if you don't give the coach the tools he needs, you're setting him up to underperform.

Beppe needs to get Allegri a TQ, and quite honestly, there have been a handful of teams that have acquired players with that skill set. It is a flat out failure for Beppe to not find one, especially after offloading the talent we did this summer.

I'm still hopeful though - it could still happen.

+ add that most probably he was on allegri's whishlist, and the club considered it a done deal, so now we have to rush and find an other option. which would be either rubbish or expensive. or both.

to put it simply, it's not about draxler, it's about not getting a fucking trequartista during the whole mercato.
