You don't get the point. €35m for Lamela in 2013 was fair. He was top class. Jovetic 2013 the same. But now? Lamela had two disappointing seasons in Tottenham, and Jovetic didn't feature more then 5 times or so at City. Their price tag has dropped heavily. Draxler has been injured for 1.5 years - his price tag should have dropped likewise! But no. Appearantly it didn't - and that's the same as arguing Lamela is worth €35m and Jovetic €30m right now.
Lamela is worth maybe €20m right now, and Jovetic went to Inter for €15m a few weeks ago.

Logic have it Draxler is worth €25m right now. And he just went for €36m + bonuses. It's absurd.
Challenge. Find someone like him with that cost. Amuse me

Big deal not addressing the only position Allegri requested to play his favorite formation.
De Bruyne leaving Wolfsburg was evident - everyone sort of expected it to happen. And replacing him with Draxler was also in the cards.
I think we did try to close the deal some time ago, in order to secure Draxler before anyone would overpay like Wolfsburg in a desparate act. But Schalke knew it too, and they refused a great offer (€26m+bonuses! In all honesty a good deal) only to wait out for desperate buyers close to deadline day.

We werent going to overpay for it, he knows how Marotta works.
Disagree. We put almost 30 at the end when we started in15. It means they were right and we admit with our offer that we were so wrong.

Bayern. Sold bastian and replace inmediatly with Vidal. Wolfs sold kdb and perisic and replsce then inmediatly. You can see how big clubs works.

Now move on and wait to see what marotta it's gonna bring us. I still hope something great

Guys calm down...there's still hope

Schalke denied Julian Draxler has a deal with Wolfsburg, but told worried Juventus “it’ll probably go on to the last minute.”

The situation exploded last night when Wolfsburg suddenly emerged as contenders for the 22-year-old midfielder, matching and even surpassing Juve’s offer of €26m plus €6m bonuses.

“The door is not yet closed, as we had extensive discussions on the transfer of Julian Draxler throughout Saturday.

“We will have to address the issue further. But we will also take the necessary time in order to make the best decision for the club,” director Horst Heldt told the official Schalke website.

“As of Saturday afternoon, Juventus had not made an official bid. The media claim Wolfsburg have a deal? That is not true.

“We all know what has to happen. A transfer has to be completed before 18:00 CEST on Monday. After our discussions on Saturday, it appears as if we are heading towards a last-minute decision.”

Heldt also flatly denied Bild reports that Draxler had joked around with the Wolfsburg players after Saturday’s Bundesliga defeat and asked how he looked in their jersey.

Juventus need a creative midfielder and cannot wait until deadline day to get an answer from Schalke 04, so are turning to other targets instead.

These include Erik Lamela of Tottenham Hotspur and Zenit’s Axel Witsel.

At what cost? €25m? I can't. Lamela? Not many top class AMs has been injured or played very poor over the last two years. Solving this need for an AM id go for someone more expensive like Fekir at €30m. But that's another case - he's worth €30m right now, he's a France regular and had a monster season with Lyon.

Where do I begin? Reports he signed for Wolfsburg for 36m. Reports he passed the medical.
and of course Juve fans attacking his instagram and facebook.
The ones with them attacking his instagram is older than the article and the ones of him signing were all denied by this latest article quoting Heldt or whatever his name is

We'll probably not bring in anybody or an underwhelming Lamela or some other player that has disappointed. We are not Bayern, hate the fuckers but they always bring in quality while we have to wait for sales and bargains and luck.
