Yea, my thoughts exactly. Can't believe we've gone through the summer chasing this guy like he's Aguero.
Irrespective of Heldts comments, it would be hilarious if we can't even sign this guy.
So sad, in arguably our best season in a decade, maybe more, even financially, this is the best we could do, and that too, just about. Not like we came in and closed decisively. Makes me feel like we think the player is a compromise to begin with, but due to the lack of options we want to give Allegri something to work with.

Diego to me was a better player than Draxler as an AM. They're relatively different in their styles, but to be fair to Diego, he didn't really get a good enough shot at being s mainstay at Juve. Too many changes too quickly and shipped off without being given a second chance. Though I agree with your overall take on Deaxler, don't think he has that big player temperament and personality to me like probably a Sandro has.

Are we really haggling over 3 million when we are giving away Tevez and Llorente for free, and spending 18 million on players we don't for options on other players?
Juve cannot be penny pinching 3 mils after underselling vidal and giving pirlo tevez and llorente for free. Those last 3 could have easily given us at least 15 mils (and IMO Tevez alone was a 15 mil player given his form but oh well)....
