Here is what I am trying very hard to comprehend.
Draxler is Schalke's best player, and therefore, their most prized asset.
He is also only 21 years old but has been a 4 year starter and has quite a few appearances in the Champions League
Schalke play in the Bundesliga, one of the most, if not the most, financially stable league in Europe.
There is a release clause in his contract between 40 and 45 million euro.
So, Juve are trying to pry away a 21 year old, 4 year starter who has a 40 million euro release clause, and is easily Schalke's most prized asset.
For a rumored starting bid of 15 million plus bonuses.
If I were Schalke, I would have shut it down after that first offer as well, and not wasted any more time.
I really, REALLY hope this is not true.
