Juve €10m off Draxler price

Schalke gave Juventus permission to speak to Julian Draxler, but the €30m demand is a long way off the €20m bid.

“Juventus sent us a written request asking to be authorised to speak with Draxler’s agent,” Schalke director of sport Horst Heldt told Bild.

“We allowed it, even though at the moment we haven’t received a precise offer from the Turin club.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations are continuing between the two sides as well as with his agent.

Schalke are asking for €30m, while Juventus are currently offering €20m plus performance-related bonuses.

The 21-year-old player is looking for €5m per season wages.
