Hasnt marotta stated time and time again that we wont sign a world class player or whatever? So what makes it difference in this case? Just cause we have the money, we automatically have to unload it on a player? And Marotta said it would be market opportunities, so at this point, draxler for 20m is an opportunity and so is sandro.

Imo we have actually strengthened the squad, and while we have lost a great warrior in vidal, maybe this is the season where pogba really steps up and is the difference maker.
Marrotta also said we wouldn't sell Pogba and Vidal. How do you forget that? So market opportunities till that point would then perhaps be a Draxler at a cut price. But after selling 'big' if you're not going for an equally high profile replacement, then either you don't have the ability or the club as a collective does not believe it is big enough. The management needs to get their heads checked.

You have just lost Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal in ONE solitary window. this is bound to have an effect on the team. Quality apart, don't forget that you are also having to bring in one more new player into the squad. The more that happens, the more the variables increase. Team chemistry. Team balance. Team mentality.

Yeah, I'm just saying that he doesn't deserves the hate. Probably, and most likely all of those links were media bullshit.

I think that if this signing would've happened before (and we weren't selling Vidal) a lot of people would be jizzing.

That's also because your midfield would still be as WC as it was last year. Draxler with Vidal on the team doesn't hurt as much as selling Vidal and then buying Draxler when you actually have an opportunity to push the team to a slightly more dynamic dimension. Also, let's not forget, the hate that is coming about has got more to do with the fact that the money we sold for under the current market conditions was below par for the course, this is assuming that a player with Juve tattoos declared his live for the club s month ago this summer, suddenly crashed his Ferrarri and changed his mind about the club, since they're both Italian and owned by the Agnellis.

he'll sell him next year. For less than we expected and get Gerson who can do $#@! with a ball.
Gerson is going to barca now. Don't be a pessimist .. we sold matri for 12 fucking million. If we were going to sell pogba for 80mill we would've done it this year.

I can assure u we are going to sell him more than 85mill ! get a screenshot of my reply ..

He also said if they ask to leave they can go did u forget that? At this point we dont know why he left. And i wouldnt worry about chemistry at all. They have a full preseason together and if thats not enough time to incorporate them then thats dumb. And we are losing on two starters, why are u making it sound like its the whole starting 11?

Maybe pirlo leaving also forced the vidal transfer? Without the creative force pirlo, the need for something more than vidal could provide arose. There is a big probability 4 scudettos and a final in cl, would make the team content and lose hunger. Maybe the team and players need to change

    But can leave for 35M.
I get the impression Marotta doesnt sell players who's value can improve, but just sold vidal who's value would only go down.

Personally, i'd keep players like that untill their sportive ability went down too much tho.

So you are then of the opinion that Vidal lied to us after saying that he wanted to end his career at the club, went to the Copa and changed his mind? Given how quickly this deal moved, you think it was a decision taken only on the players level? You're missing the point here.

The club had a choice whichever way you look at it. A) Either enforce the players contract and lock him down given that we had lost two big players in Tevez and Pirlo, and Pogba already being subject to very aggressive moves by the biggest club in the game today. B) Agree to sell him, in which case they could've gotten more clubs involved and if not wanting to do that, pushed for a greater sum of money to fulfil Allegris explicit wish for a number 10. Players that included names like Oscar and Isco.

At the end of this, I hope it turns in our favour, but the point being, the sale is done and dusted, and there is cash now to give the manager the level of player that he has asked for, while losing a very important part of the team. If at the end of that, we are going to approach this by looking for the most attainable signing rather than actually compensating this sale with serious quality, then we only have ourselves to blame for the path our season takes. Given how we have proclaimed that the CL final is only the beginning.
