Given how quickly this deal moved, I don't think it was in its entirety done with the intention of buying an AM. Something has clearly transpired behind the scenes between club and player. But that said, now that the sale has happened, there is a need gap on the pitch, and the reality of the situstion is that this sale will albeit partially, but only be of value if that position is well compensated so that what the team loses in heart makes up for in natural flair.

All this hate towards Draxler is unnecessary and he's only getting it because we're selling Vidal, he's not a bad player at all.

After being linked to Oscar, Isco and Goetze, and actually having a chunk of cash to pursue a player like that wouldn't you admit Draxler is too underwhelming for a #10 'phenomenon' as Agnelli labeled it?
