of course it is only an opinion. you never know how young players will develop. (not even our scouts)
but the idea of draxler as a #10 for juventus just doesnt strike me.
i think this step comes to early for him. may he proof me wrong.
And maybe he will prove your right :D

Yes, and he has a long career ahead of him, but he would be signed as the supposed to AM to elevate the team, when he hasnt done enough so far in his career to warrant that kind of expectation. Germany's golden generation of talents in past decade to recent years have been fun to follow, and seen Draxler plenty to see the hype. Excellent drive and attacking power, but shown too little quality in regular basis to deserve the initial big reputation, unlike others at same age or just few years older (more impressed with the natural talent of Meyer, even if he is bit too feather weight).

In a nutshell: He is not (yet?) someone you would sacrifice a champion player for.

Draxler agent: 'I’m in Italy but…’

The agent of Schalke’s Julian Draxler is in Italy, but insists he 'knows nothing’ about a potential move to Juventus.

The Bianconeri are on the verge of selling Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich, with the German one of the players rumoured to be replacing him.

“I’m in Italy,” Roger Witmann told Tuttomercatoweb.

“But I don’t know anything about Julian Draxler and a move to Juventus. He plays for Schalke 04, you’d have to ask them, these are just rumours.”

Despite these words, Tuttomercatoweb believes a deal is well underway for Draxler, with Juve Coach Max Allegri having long-desired a trequartista, a role the German international can occupy.

I think it should be noted that we are not selling Vidal "for" Draxler. We're (potentially) signing Draxler because he could be the only young, exciting and quality CAM that we can afford. Highly doubt Madrid would let go off Isco, Chelsea wouldn't sell Oscar for less than 30 mil, and Gotze seems highly unlikely despite the some recent news.

This is all speculation.
Compared to knowing it for a fact? We can only judge based on what we see, and speculate. If it turns out its a factor that we sell big player like Vidal primarly to cash in so we can sign someone like Draxler, then its denifeltely a highly questionable sense of planning and prioritizing by our board.

Getting both Draxler and Gotze would be a coup. Draxler while he can also play centrally plays on the left side as well. You could play a 4-3-3, a 4-3-2-1, and a 4-3-1-2 with perfection with those two...

1) Gotze-Mandzukic-Dybala
2) Draxler-Morata- Dybala
3) Mandzukic
Draxler----------Gotze
4) Mandzukic-Dybala
Gotze

goatze has been bad from bayern. and he is not even first choice any more.

frankly i think he's overrated. but i think we could sign him given that guardiola doesnt play him much

Götze its little overrated/doesnt fit in with the pressure of Bayern much, but at his weakest days, he is still better then Draxler for sure. Götze is near top player, while Draxler is just a question mark so far.

P.S Did the above poster say we will get both players`

If we wanted to sell Vidal because we needed the money to fund another transfer, we would have sold Pogba for €80 mill. There is definitely something more to the picture.

Is Draxler overrated?
Draxler is really talented , I remember we wanted him prior to him renewing his contract with Schalke and we did a decent approach.
He rejected us then and decide to sign up.

However, he has regressed and his long term injuries isn't really helping either. Would say a somewhat Jack Wilshere case. Ha havent complete a half league games in the last two season.

He probably thinks we will also get a LB and Cuadrado on loan.
