Agent: Arsenal target Julian Draxler can leave Schalke for just £17.5m
thats a damn steal even given his injury problems

I will be gutted if we let Juventus take him, especially since it spretty clear this guy wants to come here.

I hope we hijack this, yes we have players in those positions, but he has the ability to outstrip either of them.

Saponara > Draxler > Gotze > Isco

Saponara is criminally underrated here. Mark my words, he will have best career of any of them. History will prove me right.
I also like Saponara but c'mon :D

I remember you loved Capello's 4-4-2, the $#@!tiest formation and playing style that Juve ever played before Calciopoli.
What? Not at all, I clearly wanted us to try other formations such as the 4-3-3 we used against Real. Revisionist.

And if I ever did support the 4-4-2, it did give us 2 Scudetti.

So I was right regardless of what I thought.

"There is no offer from Juve. The club have shown interest to meet with Julian's agent. They already had that meeting. We still havent made the decision, if we r willing to sit on the table with Juve to negotiate. Nonetheless it has to be said, that Juve handled this business in a very respectable manner. We have to wait and see now. As said before, there is no offer. Besides an interest, there is nothing. That is not an easy situation for a player. It is flattering of course, if such a club comes calling and showing interest. Its not about Draxler to position himself now. He knows exactly, that he has enough time to make a decision, if the story starts to roll. Its advising, to keep calm and concentrate on the job he has with us. All the rest, time ll tell."

Then Schalke have sold Farfan to Al Jazira for around 7-10m€. No big story u say, but he really was a legend there and it makes all the supporters even more sensitive for more sales of important players. It also makes the club more independent to generate more cash.

Also, Heldt's position at the club became fragile. Di Matteo really cost him credit and the people r now very critical with him. Gladbach CEO Eberl confirmed these days, that Schalke tried to lure him away, so it became public and Heldt exactly knows now, that his job is on jeopardy. Selling Draxler for a sum below the expired buyout clause would destabilize his position again heavily, as many people of them would simply go ape shit and getting their pitchfork. Schalke already had clubs from EPL willing to trigger the clause..also Arsenal bet close to 40m€ in winter to get him..rejected.

The whole story doesnt seem to be that concrede at all, as I m pretty sure Juve wont be willing to pay, what Schalke r going to ask. Will ll soon find out, what Schalke really demand..not what the Italian troll media is reporting all over the place. My prediction stands, Schalke wont sell him below 40m€ and Draxler wont move to Juve.

We still in it for him?
That's why I think we are pushing for a Draxler loan, so while we check his injury status, we probably might buy Cuadrado outright with the Vidal money. Just a hunch. Draxler, Cuadrado, Sequiera/Sandro. I don't agree with Sequiera or Draxler though.

Am I dreaming? did I just read a Nostradamus post and there's no word 'BS' or 'nonsense' in it, and he's not mocking anybody?

i think our great relationship with Empoli will play a key factor in us outbidding other top clubs for him. watch him pull a Pereyra x 10 in his 1st season here and Real begging us to take both ISco and James for him which we ofcourse wont do
I don't want to sound like a homer here... but I could easily see Barca proposing a straight swap, Messi for Saponara next summer. I mean, thinking about it with a little more clarity, it's quite obvious that the next 10 years with 23 year old Saponara is better than just the next 5 years with Messi. I'd say odds are quite good he surpasses Messi's Ballon d'Or count by the end of his career, assuming the jealous haters from outside Italy don't hold him down with rigged votes.

I'd be absolutely devastated if we lose this prince.
