Agree on the gamble. But if we win, we win hands down. We have a few gambles (Dybala, Draxler, Rugani) and some safer bets (Mandu, Khedira). If it works out fine, we will be unstoppable.
Rugani is gamble as safe as it gets. Italian, owned by Juve for years now, experience in Serie A, highly regarded, no injuries, will start as the backup of the backup, no pressure on him because in front of him there are 3 stalwarts.

Dybala is a gamble because of the huge price, but he also comes initially to be on the bench and with Serie A experience.

Draxler is a true gamble, coming from another country, being touted as disappointing performance the past 2 seasons, last season serious injury.

just watched a report on kicker.de with some interview snippets from horst heldt. i guess they have already been posted but kicker interprets them exactly the way i do:

"we talked to julian and i informed him that we will make juventus´ interest public."
-> schalke is slowly preparing their fans for the inevitable: they will lose their role model. bayern acted pretty much the exact same way with schweinsteiger.

"it´s not hinterupfingen who are showing interest but a prestigious club. champions of italy and cl runner ups in the last year. it´s a players duty to take some things into consideration."
-> "we sell him because HE WANTED to get sold. so it´s not our fault. on the other hand it´s not his fault either, because juve are irresistible" ^^

having said that, i really can´t see draxler coming to turin tomorrow :D.

Agree on all 3 paragraphs.

Im more worried with draxler because his fitness. At least dybala is healthy and he has 2 players like morata and mandzu in front of him with more responsabilities than him.

But draxler will be our new reference point. Huge pressure.

I really don't have any clue what this guy is all about....never watched a full game of him!
:D me too.... but youtube dont lie. :D....right?.

I see he got some skills.
