Schalke: 'Juve in Draxler talks'
By Football Italia staff

Schalke 04 “authorised Juventus to speak with Julian Draxler,” but are reportedly unwilling to release him on loan.

“Juventus sent us a written request asking to be authorised to speak with Draxler’s agent,” Schalke director of sport Horst Heldt told Bild.

“We allowed it, even though at the moment we haven’t received a precise offer from the Turin club.”

According to Sportitalia, Schalke are not prepared to release Draxler on loan with an option to buy, accepting only a permanent transfer.

This is a problem for Juve, who want to evaluate his fitness levels over a whole season before committing to such a big move.

The 21-year-old made only eight Bundesliga starts last season and the asking price is €35m.

The first concrete news, which isn't bs, and the thread goes quiet

We're buying both Draxler and Gotze, I can feel it. It opens up a 4-2-3-1 as another possibility :O

----------Morata----------
Draxler--Gotze--Pereyra
---Khedira---Marchiso---

and I realize getting both is unlikely...was just having fun....

Very wise to bench Pogba...
There are many wise reasons to bench Pogba:
1) It's a cup game
2) Pogba is injured
3) Pogba is substituted off
4) For tactical reasons
5) He needs a rest

I'm not saying this would be a go-to formation, but it would be another option, and quite frankly, Pogba is probably less suited to play as one of those holding mids because he is quite offensive. He'd obviously be in the starting 11 the vast majority of the time...
