The fact that they are doing a press conference including Draxler clearly means he is staying with them. You wouldn't organize a press conference to say he was leaving - that would be a first! Normally they leave quietly not via a press conference.

My guess is we will end up with Witsel or Montolivo in the end.

i don´t think that he is coming but i still wouldn´t read too much into this press conference. afaik it´s has been planned for quite some time because of the wolfsburg game on friday.
i also took a look at a german schalke forum and nobody seems to care that there is a press conference with draxler today.
he is one of their best players, he had a good game and scored last week and it´s quite common to have a player at pre-match press conferences.
having said that, obviously there is still any chance that the deal will be burried once and for all at that press conference.
