I could careless where he plays. But if we are going for a back up cm id expect some more skill. I trust Padoin and I dislike him, more than I would trust montolivo

Montolivo would be a good backup, as khedira and marchisio are supposed to be starters, and having a guy on the bench who's also a good passer with decent tackeling will be good.

He's a world class midfielder in his late 20's. Even if you could argue he's one of the absolute best in his role, it's not the kind of player that will go for an insane amount of money. We got €40m - I think we could have got a maximum of €50m if we played it better, but that's about it.
