Hmmmm.....Wouldn't this be nice:
----------------------Buffon----------------------
Lichsteiner-----Bonucci----Chiellini-----Sandro
----------------Marchisio-----Pogba-------------
------Dybala--------Draxler---------Cuadrado---
----------------------Morata----------------------
.
Actually that is not bad in terms of players and lineup BUT there are some problems with this lineup
2 midfielders mean Pogba would be limited Marchisio too
Dybala Draxler Cuadrado - Dybala should be play more center and closer to goal while Draxler should be wider so 4-4-2 4-2-4 (Conte like) would be better suited but I still dont like to limit Pogba
Also putting Sandro as a LB is quite a waste of his talent as he could provide us more in attack as well
---------------------Buffon----------------------
--------Bonucci--Barzagli (later Rugani)--Chiellini-----
Lichsteiner----------------------------------------Sandro-------------
----------------Marchisio-----Pogba-------------
-----------------------------------------------Cuadrado---
---------Dybala
----------------------Morata/Mandzukic----------------------
That way Pogba and Marchisio could move more as there are 3CB and to WB to cover Cuadrado will play forward with Dybala close behind Morata/Mandzukic
The truth is Gundogan could be a real help for our midfield if we go for the 3-5-2 and if we go for a CAM I guess we would still need a CM but I see Marchisio playing further behind to allow Khedira and Pogba more freedom.
We are 2 signings short of a great squad 3 away from a really scary team
CM AM CF
CM options (some unrealistic) Gundogan Verratti Tielmans (more for the future)
AM options (Some unrealistic) De Bruyne Draxler Goetze Reus Makhitiryan Vazquez
CF options (some unrealistic) Cavani Balotelli (yes I know you all hate him) and I have one name for the future Embolo (the guy from Basel)
