You'd think we'd be able to sell someone to raise that extra 5 million.

If it were up to me, both Draxler and Gotze would be coming in and I'd be pursuing much more aggressively.

I would sell Caceres (5), Llorente (8), Coman (20).

We clearly have enough strikers, and Gotze can play as a secondary striker, and Draxler can play as an inside forward like Coman. There is nothing lost there.

As for Caceres, you already have a multiple CBs, but I would look to buy a low budget guy to fill in - a guy you can pay very little because when all the injuries are better, it is also a position of strength.

At CB you have Bonucci, Rugani, Barzagli and Chiellini. I am sure you can bring in a cheap player from a provincial team on loan to add extra insurance while the injuries are a problem.
At RB you have Lichtsteiner, Isla, and Andreas Tello.

As for Isla, I would totally keep him. He is younger than Licht and if given the opportunity, maybe he can replicate his Udinese form at Juventus.
Because we can get a "cheaper" option of Caceres' ability for the 5m we sell him for?

Llorente for 8m when he's rumored to be valued (and probably sold for) 11-12m?

Coman for 20m? Where are you getting these numbers?

Oh yeah, your ass.

Nah, I saw these numbers in various articles (Bayern & Coman, Llorente...And even if I'm off from the final numbers, I was just throwing out ballparks, the point was not the absolute figure, but the moves suggested)...

But just to humour you...

- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ernando-llorente-theo-walcott-rumours...there have also been reports for 8 million pounds as well (~3 million more than the number I suggested...are you really arguing over 3 million?)

#Juventus turned down a €15m #FCBayern Munich offer for Kingsley Coman, claim La Gazzetta dello Sport http://www.football-italia.net/69115/juve-reject-new-bayern-coman-bid … #FCB
...there were also rumours that they'd come back with a new bid...120 million isn't unreasonable.

So yeah, pretty sure my numbers were range-bound. But that is besides the point... My point was I'd rather sacrifice those players and pay a little bit more for Draxler/Gotze.

You also clear Caceres' 1.8 million in salary. You could maybe loan in another depth player of 1/3 of that wage, while receiving a transfer fee.

Interesting.

Maybe someone can let us know when Schalke win something. Until then nobody puts baby in a corner...
Then again, this is the same guy who just recently said that Juve shouldn't spend the money on Draxler because he would be on the bench or in the hospital most of the time.

The same guy who has a Caceres avatar.

Can you smell the irony from a mile away?
