I remember one of the main reasons i didn't want us to buy Amauri is the age factor. Said back then that he's already 28 years old and if he screws up we'll find it extremely hard to sell his ass. Fast forward thats where we are right now.

So we should take that age factor seriously.

actually hes buying sneijder who is sort of a world class player,,i wouldnt object splashing the cash on an amazing talent but im sorry vucinic,quags,vargas,matri all 15m.....in 2 or 3 yrs theyll be worth jack shit....i dont object to buying older players but i wud rather more money spent on a younger player with potential to improve,thats how u build a base for the future
