You don't reason like a rational person. Were we not struggling in both seasons? Did we not have issues with the players & coaches, along with shady tactics?

where there other players that did score more ? yes !
where those players less injured ? yes
did those players give more to the team while on the pitch? yes
so what's here to argue... the one season trez played hardly, so of what good is he, when he is not even good enough to be fielded in a struggling team (meaning there was no striker in top form preventing him from earning a starting spot if he wasnt injured)
the other season is a pretty mediocre 7 goals in the league ... nothing that warrants the constant "but if we still had trez" talk
and thats of course ranieris fault ... he did deliberately weaken the team he fields, because he does not want to win, while it is obvious that trezeguet was in top shape and would have scored more often than the guys we fielded.

Do you understand the difference between not being good enough to start & deliberately being benched because a coach has preferred players & is set in his ways in terms of tactics? You do realize some coaches even bench the best players available, even don't select them for call up to prove a point & establish their authority?
Even the great Lippi did it with Cassano & Balotelli for the 2010 WC squad. Going by your logic, they really are shit, i mean they weren't good enough for a call up or WC selection.

I don't really care for the rest of the post because it seems like you're not over Ranieri, and you're still ultra defensive when someone talks about him.

if you say that trezeguet did never get a proper run of games to get into form, than i would argue, that you just can not afford to give a player that does pretty much nothing for the team a run of games just for the sake of it (or for the sake of him getting into form). we are juventus and are obliged to win. even more so, if you have not a team that is strong and good enough to compensate for that.

To be fair, he does look a bit on the chunky side for a footballer, sorta like "Cassano Lite" without all the extra calories. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see him here as he's the best option for LW that we are linked with.
As for all the BS Virtu was spewing about Trez, it's common knowledge that Virtu and Ranieri are buttsecks buddies, so he tends to get touchy when ppl attack his beloved Ranieri.
