We need players that can cut inside offers something else than Krasic, players than can beat their mans, Running and crossing we already have that in Krasic.

Bastos is more cutting in/shooting with power kinda winger, but him and Vargas are pretty similar level wise, with Vargas being the better all purpose winger IMO. I'd prefer Vargas over almost everyone. This guy is really going to suit the tactic that Conte wants. Also good at defending. Powerful. Much more Nedved type a player then Bastos. You really should try to rembember how good vargas was with prandelli before making a judgement like this. As it seems, so far, Conte is building Juve as it has always been before Secco. And i would say Vargas could be satisfying on the left wing playing like Nedved did, cut inside and shoot or breaking the rythim of the play so the team comes more creative. Lets see.

Yeah, 20 million is indeed a lot. A player of same age and more quality was just bought for 15 by Marotta. I do rate Vargas but even 15 million is slightly over his value. Especially considering how there is noone else to start a bidding war.

Agree with this. Bastos offers more versatility, but overall Vargas is slightly the better player. I'm hugely impressed with Vargas's crossing ability.

He will be a great signing indeed for the right price. He's an endless runner, provides width and he's known for attacking the goal with his powerful left footed shots. He also has some creativity in him, creating plays, but surely not his forte.

Yeah we need another strong body in the mid who can control the ball under pressure. Pirlo and Krasic are lightweights.
15m + is a ridiculous price though but i think they know we (Conte) really wants him. Bastos also seems a bit light and doesn't create a compact center like Vargas would.
