Verona just purchased him for 15M, they don't have that kind of money to hold onto him. I think Marotta is smart to cap his offers at 23M. If some other big clubs comes and swoops in and pays their ridiculous 30M asking price then so be it but if no one comes Verona is going to be calling Marotta.

23M is actually too much for Iturbe. Marotta is damn right in not raising it further. Wtf??? This kid is still learning the game. If Verona won't make it for 20M + a player, then fuck them.

I just hope Marotta don't panic and go after some fucking Ibarbo or Biabiany. If our scouting is not good enough to bet on some other kid from South America/France/Holland, let's just stay put.

First Verona want 25M, then they want 27M, then they want 30M and now they want 33M.

Lets just conclude that the media has no idea what Verona wants and what we've offered.

and if its true they can fuck right off.

Iturbe has low wages and is very probable to maintain his market value even if he doesn't improve.

People say this is a risky move but with prices for young players nowadays I believe there is less risk because it will be easier to recoup our money.

22M-25M is a fine price for me. Even if he stagnates for a couple years we should be able to get 15M out of him. It is a small risk in that sense but if he reaches his potential the reward could be immense.
The thing is if he does not improve and is still at Verona he will still be playing week in week out and therefore maintain his value. If a player with this potential does not improve at Juventus he is most likely to end up like Krasic, Elia or Martinez and his value will drop drastically.

Exactly,it's either a guessing game by the media about the numbers,or Verona can go fuck themselves.

Problem is that whilst teams like United and PSG have endless pits of money, the rumours of 72m for Pogba, 50m for Vidal and what would seem something similar for Sanchez in the end is what gives Verona the balls to ask for a higher price on Iturbe.

Milan can't afford that unless they offload Balotelli quick smart, and even then they are still screwed financially.

And to top it all off, Verona know Juve is desperate for wingers and we are limited in funds...they know we don't have the plus 40m for Sanchez. Not unless we sell a star. And even then, we bring in plus 40m and all of a sudden, Verona think we are chased up and ask for more again.

We can tell them to fuk off but who do we bring in? Berardi isn't possible now for this coming season. As it stands Sanchez is out of reach.

There is no hiding our wants and needs with Marotta, he is a big mouth during transfer periods and Verona knows we need a winger.

I wouldn't go over 30m but then again, who do we bring in for under 30m?
