It's not like they can offer more than our 20M, they're broking broke. Releasing Kakà might help them ot get rid of an important salary and a player done and busted, but still, they've no financial power. That's why they've been so keen on Bosmans (Alex and Menez) and Galliani when asked about Iturbe looks pissed off. Why well-informed people say they're available to sell De Sciglio or Balotelli then? That's the answer. It's not a secret that they need another winger for Inzaghi (that does not like Balotelli upfront and really likes Iturbe, from what they say, and everything would make sense).

Pirlo , pogba , llorente all 3 bosman and barzagli (0.3m) , yet we paid 16m for isla ,15m for ogbonna 11m for gio , 10m ( padoin peluso ) etc etc . Does it make sense now ?
They are doing what we have done in the past and still do, buy few players on Bosman and spend on those who we think are quality .
Menez for free is better than some avg player for 15m .
I would be your biggest fan. I'd sopcast that shit. Nico sitting there together with Curva communicating through Google Translate while scouting obscure South American talents in the middle of the night.
Of course, and along with Coman and perhaps some random cheap winger we can pick up it would be a solid plan B formation. But it is far, far away from a primary lineup worthy of Juventus. It doesn't make sense for us to spend the majority of our transfer budget on a player we will hardly use, and it doesn't make sense for Iturbe to move to use when playing time is crucial at this point in his career.
Sanchez would have been perfect, but probably unattainably anyways.

But who says we won't play Iturbe and who says we wont change formations? A switch from a 3-5-2 to a 4-3-3 or some other formation simply means we drop a cb and possibly Asa for a lb and a winger. Conte is probably keen on using a 4-3-3 or some sort in champions league given the trouble we have had with the 3-5-2.
I know your point is we really don't have the money to make a jump in quality if we were to switch to a 4-3-3 but we could also play a sort of 4-3-1-2 with Iturbe pushing wide or something. Formations are mostly just numbers. If he is going to be bought I doubt he would come to be sitting on the bench especially given the rumored price.

That could be true and it's quite possible but at this point we simply don't know what Conte has on his mind. If Iturbe starts to perform 433 could be permanent.
Given we do get Iturbe I think that hardest part for Conte would be who does he drop when switching to a 4-3-3 or a formation with a back 4.
We already saw Asa lash out at his national team coach because he was being used at lb, so I doubt Asa would settle for that at Juve. The other problem is I highly doubt that Conte would drop Tevez.
So unless we line up with like a 4-3-3 but Tevez and Llorente stay centrally and Iturbe drifts wide right or left, then we would have one flank exposed but then we could do what we do with the 3-5-2 with our cms doubling up on the flanks. Idk Conte has to figure it out
