Get ready for people saying its a great deal, will now say it sucks
Unless he is absolutely brilliant we aren't going to lose an awful lot on this deal in terms of an outright purchase (higher value and more interest), but then we would also have had a brilliant season from a player for just €1.5m + salary. Even then it would depend on the will of the player next summer.

I suppose it comes down to looking like a lesser club for loaning the player, but he doesn't seem to have any future there with Mourinho, they are hardly developing a guy who will be 28 years old by the end of next season. They want a good season and as much money back as possible.

He should fit in well with our team spirit (bubbly hispanic who speaks good Italian).

you are something :p

ITS HAPPENING :tuttosport:

Overreaction aside, I think Cuadrado is a good signing but he is being overshadowed by the mythical trequartista. I hope he does well here and I've always been a huge fan of the 4-3-3 so maybe its finally the season.
I don't think we are getting a TQ. Our market is done IMO. No more 4312 unless its Pereyra there. We will see a 433 or 352.

No option? That leaves us in a Morata like situation where we want him to be good just not too good. So we can buy him at a decent price.

Yep ultimately it works out for us because we aren't obligated to anything and if he does well enough we will probably get him.

:agree:

option would have been great no?
like we will be able to get him for less than the rumored 25m these days...
I agree but like JuveJay said, I doubt he will go back to Chelsea, so we will probably negotiate a price with Chelsea

Yep.

And I doubt Chelsea will suddenly be begging for him to come back next year even with good results here.
exactly. i wonder what people expect to happen in one year.
will he adapt to mourinho´s system and to life in england while playing for juve in italy? probably not.

going full retard about the missing option to buy is as dumb as going full retard about morata´s buy-back-clause.
OF COURSE it would be better if we had an option to buy (with the same loan fee) and no sane person will ever deny that but it´s still a great deal.
to get an option we would probably have to pay ~5m for the loan alone. not exactly what we´d want to do right now tbh.
even if he explodes we can probably still get him for a decent fee IF he wants to stay with us. if not the option wouldn´t do us much good anyway.

really looking forward to him. will add a lot.
