Yes, but there are 9 other players on the pitch with him. If one goes down, someone else covers for his ass. Is that too much to ask for?
Yeah, adapting to defending a counter without a wingback is baked into a strategy which includes wing backs or full backs joining the attack.

Sure he could/should have gotten back quicker, but the defence should be able to deal with that scenario without leaving somebody totally unmarked in the box.

I mean Im all up for it that they have to cover for him, but this guy was pretending that he was actually hurt and left his flank exposed. How many times we have to deal with his antics where he goes down with minimal contact, damn at least get the fuck up if its not called.
On this goal, there is also Dusan not putting enough pressure on Zielinski and Fagioli not covering for Cuads, but if the guy who should be there in a first place isnt coming back because he is pretending to be fouled and hurt then something is wrong with that team.

Also to add to that, this is for me a symbol of this current shit state of Juve. Instead of putting a fight for the ball when we are not getting the call we wanted, our players choose to stop play and either pretend to be fouled or just shit at ref. Their whining and bitching wont change anything, they should get their shit together and track back as a mad motherfucker, thats what I would be expecting from a sportsman and for few years we are not seeing much of this type of attitude from any of our players.

Gentlemen, take as many shots as you want a Cuads, but it’s management fall for keeping them here. Same with Sami, you signed him to a contract, so just pay them and send him on his way, don’t belittled him trying to make him quit.

Just look at the signings of milik and paredes. Max may not have entire control but he certainly has a voice in the decisions
Not really disproving his point lol. But that should be basic common sense, surely? The Italian norm of having an SD randomly buying players and a coach trying to fit them in never really made sense to me, were it ever that way.

Btw I think Max just wanted a striker who was different to Vlahovic and could get involved in play from the midfield, which is why originally we were after Depay. It’s not like he and Milik are similar players. It should be that the coach gives an outline of the type of player he wants, and the club have answered that by signing two former Serie A players on loan deals...so he's obviously no Paratici if he is controlling transfers, as we haven't wasted €100m on them.

Yes, he is clearly past his peak, slower than what we are used to etc, but he is one of the very few players we have who can play the ball out of the back and who tends to make the right decision.

It is also bizarre that we rely on him so much year after year and that he has no competition.
