Plus €25m optional buyout, which also automatically triggers on sporting targets met (hopefully CL and nothing less), plus an additional €4m based on sporting targets (hopefully this one is scudetti). Isn't that more like €44m, if we were to achieve all the targets? Not that many would really care were we to do it, it would pay for itself.

Edit: Less the loan amounts, so we could only pay €10m for the fee if we achieved the clause in the 3rd loan year. So it would be €29m max, as Mark says.

Its a complicated situation bcuz Cuadrado is faster and a better dribbler than Alves, but Alves is a better passer and arguably a better crosser.

Probably because he never played enough to win a heart or two. He signalled his intention a long time ago. The fans and club never held him close. Non mercenario.
