I don't get these obssessions Conte has with certain players... buying in Italy when all clubs want to fuck us in the ass and overprice their players like there's no tomorrow.

I guess we're attracted to players who are well versed in Serie A, and they are also players our management can see much more closely on a weekly basis. Although I am a very big advocate of buying players from other (strong) leagues, as we constantly get fucked over by greedy, opportunistic clubs in Italy - which is well within their right of course, but still annoying for us fans.

He's been a mainstay in the NaBule lineup because he's average, and they are really just a provincial team at heart. Who was his competition for that position over the past few years? Mesto? Dossena? He's obviously better than those guys in that position, but that really isn't saying much.
