He may not be a flashy fullback or good in the attacking phase, but I think defensively he’s been more than okay. By no means a world beater, but solid enough imo. Maybe he can improve a bit. He’s not afraid of passing the ball forward either. For 13M I reckon he’s just solid for serie a

One moment he looks really solid but than comes the time when he is completely lost, and pass directly in opponents legs what would cause a goal against one of the bigger teams

I mean we are so thin on wingbacks we use Rouhi and Savona as starters.

I would play him as a left back regardless of his attacking contributions. Just train him some dribbling, short passing and crossing

He is not juve material, his wrong passes always lead to a chance for the opponent. Maybe he will do better in coppa or wherever he will play.

problem is that he's not a good passer and that's something that players are supposed to learn at an early age

not judging yet, i just have the impression that he's easily the worst new player this summer. every time i saw him during past season he wasn't looking good at all. i'd love to be proven wrong of course

Hopefully he can step up his game soon and become a reliable option for us at CB, it’s going to be a very long season and we’ll need him ready.

I thought he did really well in the first two-three(?) games.. Just like Locatelli I don't really see why he is benched all of a sudden. But in Motta I trust

Cabal profiles better as a CB, he’s physical, aggressive and good in the air. And for a CB he’s above average technically, as opposed to FB where he’s just meh. Makes sense why Motta viewed him as a CB even before Bremer got hurt. It’s not too different than when Motta switched Calafiori to CB in Bologna.

I’m rolling with a Kalulu-Gatti-Cabal-Cambiaso backline.
