Wonder how tall he actually is. Hes listed at 6’1 but the two guys next to him in this pic are both listed at 6’3. Either way, he’s got the size to play CB.

If he could be one of those types who's part CB part LB that would be great. Ideal for back 3 and 4.

He looks like he has the legs for a wingback in a 352 also.

I agree, recovered a lot of balls and did ok in the build up phase too, still a bit raw also but can already tell he has the potential and drive to potentially play many minutes this season.

Given that he's left footed, I can see him playing a lot of minutes this season.

Still early days but there's a good chance he develops into another Calafiori under Motta. Very similar profile as well.

He’s been very good so far, and looks more intriguing as a CB than FB. Great combo of size and athleticism for the position and can make passes a lot of CBs can’t.

Djalo made one run in a meaningless end of the season game and was deemed to be better than all our CBs or some such.

Left footed player alternating between CB and FB, comfortable with the ball. I don't see any of our defenders bar Danilo at times spraying long diagonal passes so that was very encouraging to see.

But by all means, continue to be in mourning and act like everything around this club sucks. You really deserve Turd Ferguson for the next 10 years.
