Most sites list him as a LB primarily but he does seem to be built as an CB, and when checking his stats looks like he’s also been used as CB more often than not, i guess that in worst case scenario he will be a good depth option to have, with potential to be even more perhaps.

He was primarily a LB to end the year.

hes similar to Stefan Posch from Bologna. FB/CB hybrid, just on the left side.

I think we are getting him primarily for CB, at most a lopsided defensive LB in Motta’s system, so wouldn’t rush to compare to the role that Cambiaso will have for us.

Agreed. Though I would play him at LB and let him be more defensive there, I think he checks a lot of the Motta system boxes. Maybe Motta can make him his new Calafiori, who knows.
